The Hernando De Soto bridge is Memphis’ most iconic bridge and has a strong presence in Memphis’s skyline. It is a through arch bridge carrying interstate 40 across the Mississippi River between West Memphis, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee. The architectural design is a continuous cantilevered cable-stayed steel through arch, with bedstead endposts.
I am originally from Vitoria, ES – Brazil and Memphis has been my adopted city for the past several years. In my version of Memphis skyline, I celebrate my love for the city, the city that I chose to stay and help make a difference in the built environment. Daises In The City
Who is ready for the Spring? The idea came about when I was chatting with a
friend about cold weather and how much we craved springtime. Blooming daisies with our beloved Memphis in the background is all we want! This illustration was created using my digitally colored hand-drawn sketch.
